Day 28 - Messages

Hola again, mis amigos

I forgot some important messages.

As I'm writing this message it is Sunday 23 October back at home. So happy birthday to Judy and Gemma. Thank you both for sharing my Camino - this one and my everyday Camino back at home. Hope you each have a lovely day. Lots of love J x

And thank you for recent emails and comments to Rosanne, Audrey, Patricia, Chris B (hi to proposals team at PwC), Julie and Sue.

Chris, looks like I will miss you by just one day as I arrive home on the 3rd. Have a wonderful holiday. And thank you for your lovely and generous email. Look forward to seeing you soon.

J x

Hi Jenny, is there any way you can turn around and walk back to the start so you can keep writing about your amazing experiences and people you have met, I will miss your blog so much!

All the best for the final leg of your special journey tomorrow... I will be looking forward to hearing all about it!

Hi Jenny

By the time you read this, you'll have finished. Well done you!

Mum & I have been at Palm Cove the past two days and were up at Port Douglas today having a lovely lunch with Rosanne & friend Ross - so we've missed a couple of days of blogging - by the time we heard of the shin splints they were already cured, fancy that.

Just a quick hello as I just did a longer comment that completely disappeared on pressing publish!

Never mind, still looking forward to reading the last instalment, fantastic effort in every way!

Hope you've had a wonderful last day on the camino.

Love
Pam

Hi Jenny,

Wow! Wow! Wow! You're almost there. What an amazing journey. I want to go too!
I gave Sarah your blog address so that she could join in on your adventure and she says she is going to miss your blog when you're finished and so will many of us.
You're a great writer and your photos are fantastic.
Look forward to hearing more stories on your return to your Nest.

Ola amigo! Remember your companion for some of the first few days: at least when I could keep up with you? I think we parted at Cizor Minor?
By the time you read this you'll have cracked it; congratulations! I'm not a little jealous, both of your youth and fitness, and of the achievement.
Rosaree finished her week in good form, and I my fortnight at Burgos. One boot fell apart somewhere, but I stuck it back together; meanwhile keeping my eye on those abandoned boots you see on the way, in case there was a better pair. I seem to attract mozzies, got totally covered in bites overnight, which flared up nastily. Came back home and trod on a wasps nest. Up my trouser legs, sleeves, everywhere. Nightmare. So am now histimine rich. Have huge withdrawal sypmtoms from the Camino; think about it all the time. Will follow your footsteps next year; and then start again at Pau or somewhere...
Glad you liked the Mesita: very special. Hope you sampled some of those glorious grapes in Riocha... you didnt mention the wine fountain?? or the chickens in the cathedral?? You'll have to do it again too!
See u in Crows Nest December!
Off to Finesterre now?
Buon Camino!

PS When u get back, you might like to read Jack Witt's "Off the Road" a brilliant, wonderfully written, evocative, funny account of the Camino in 1995.
